Ambition

This needs to go!  Someday.
Hm-m-m-m  Things to do today:  Pull weeds out of the flower garden.  Re-stain the deck, needs a second coat to cover up the doggie footprints.  Get started on my diet, again.  Organize my closets.  Cut the grass.    Some days I just don't feel like doing what I am supposed to be doing.  I used to tell everyone that I would wait for the right time, because timing was everything.   My philosophy- my body would let me know and move me in the right direction as I will have the energy, the ambition and the motivation needed to finish a pending task.  When I feel like it, I effortlessly start and finish a task in no time.   When I don't feel like doing something, it takes me twice as long to finish.  But here's the problem: call me lazy, but I find the right time just never seems to occur anymore.  So while procrastinating and playing surfing on the internet, I found this on Ralph Marston's blog.  I need to post this saying on every mirror in my house.  Maybe, just maybe that will motivate me.  Then again, when will I copy and paste all those sayings to hang on every mirror?  And I still haven't hung up all my mirrors in the yellow brick house!

You can’t build value from what you’re thinking about doing someday. You can’t live your dreams if you never act on them.
Put your dreams into action, get the work done, and really, truly live the life you most fondly imagine. Now is the moment you have, and now is your moment to use.
— Ralph Marston
